Black Pomfret (300-500g±)
Black Pomfret has a light texture and sweet, rich flavor. High in good quality protein and high amount of Omega 3 fatty acids. Pomfret meat is firm but finely flaked, with a sweet, mild flavour. The flesh is pearly white, with a moderate fat content, and becomes white when cooked.
Black Pomfret can be deep-fried till golden brown and served with sambal belacan or ginger and soy sauce.
