The strip loin sits on the lower part of the animals backbone from the bottom of the cube roll to the top of the sirloin. This steak is known for its outstanding flavour and good marbling. While not as tender as rib eye, it's leaner and offers a beefier flavour. These strip loin steaks are a perfect treat in the comfort of your own home, and at a fraction of the steakhouse cost. Pan-seared to your preferred doneness, with butter, garlic and thyme and serve with a side of mash potatoes and glazed carrots. Perfect!
